school holiday funtivities!

not that i'm still in school.. but, my group had done a poster fo our Creative Studies assignment. we had to redesign an advertisement that are sucks to look at. my group chose this ad in News Straits Times' NiE Newspaper and we made it better! really! i'd like to thank all of my group mates for working together to make this poster possible. n i'm sorry if i dunno how to lead u guys. i'm better off doin works rather than leading a group full of personalities. hope i can do a better job in leading fo our next assignment.

We visualized the redesigned School-Influenced Pin-Up style A3 poster as an advertisement full of precious things to be discovered. We want to achieve the adventurous feeling inside the student’s heart by integrating images that explains the activities that will be held at the English workshop.

so here's the outcome of last minute meetings and arranging and spending money at Master Art:

School Holiday Funtivities! Poster Ad
School Holiday Funtivities! Poster Ad for NiE English Workshop

here's the original ad that we thought it's too dull to be noticed by school students:

NiE Newspaper Ad: Aktiviti Sekolah Bulan Mac
This ad sucks because:
  • Boring Typefaces
  • Dull Colours
  • Looks unfinished
  • Too many words
  • Blurred image
  • Images are small
  • Not appealing to school student’s eyes

if you wna know more about the poster that we've redesigned, here's the brief explanations:
