i knew Yasmin Ahmad through her films and Petronas ads.. i didn't have the slightest feeling that she's gna leave us before.. well.. that's the thing.. i can't even picture her leaving us anytime soon.. i don't want her to go just yet.. coz i'm still waiting for more films from her.. her films makes me cry and laugh at the same time.. not many films make me do that.. her films always did..
the first time i heard about the movie 'Sepet' was when my Mom recommended me to watch it coz it's a nice film made by Malaysian director.. and so i watch.. that was the first Malay movie that i can really remember its whole script, scenes and beautiful moments. 'Sepet' makes me want to support Malaysian movies.. it gives a new meaning to our film industry.. and Yasmin Ahmad proves that Malaysian can also produce a movie that perfect it won several international awards.

i remember first time i watch yasmin ahmad film is Rabun at tv3 long time ago before Sepet film release..
it's the awesome film about the life of grandmother & grandfather at their home village..
it's my favorite film even i don't know yet who is Yasmin Ahmad in that time..
